In Knill we have a manager even more negative than Ling but through ineptness rather than a conscious choice.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
Have given knill enough time to prove he can put together a successful side. Today was appalling, the team played with no tactics and it seemed there were 11 strangers on the park. Mc Court and the other loanees (except O'Conner) should be sent back and we should recall Yeoman. Knill has to go -today was the day he lost the Popside - I suspect he has already lost the dressing room. The Board should take action now!

I've used the BBC stats to work this out; this season, we've played 19 games, but they didn't have data for the JPT game with Pompey (where we were shocking anyway). In the other 18 matches though, we've managed 166 shots, of which 67 were on target. That averages at 9 shots a game, with 3 on target. The opposition have managed 207 shots, with 87 on target, an average of 11 shots, with 5 on target.vinny wrote:And probably in the 33 games just 40 shots on goal !
Not really a noticeable difference, but an average of 3 shots on target a game is absolutely shocking in my mind.
Want to try and get to Accrington but it's looking unlikely, but I expect a 3+ points from these next two games. If Argyle come here and beat us that will be the final straw for me, because they are rubbish.

I like to be positive, but Knill has to go as much as I dont want to say it
the club cant afford to sack knill, but in all honesty can we afford to keep him? even looking at the players now compared to last year the only one that are half decent is Chappell.
even the old guard shouldn't be near the first team. mansell spends 99% of the game shouting or being 5 yards behind play ontop of which he struggles to pass wind let alone a football. Nicholson is just past it. sadly the milk in my fridge turns quicker than him and if he Was any slower he would be running in treacle.
in all honesty if Courtney Cameron is the answer to changing a game what the hell is the question?

My question Ben is how the hell did Knill get through an interview process? How did he manage to convince the board that he could inspire, take this club by the bootlaces and get it going again? I think if he went in for a managers job at McDonalds he'd struggle to convince them that he had what it takes so how come? I think we need to get Nick Park in to Plainmoor to stand with Knill during games on the touchline because he needs animating.

If Chapple goes to Bristol City then I would think we would get 50,000 so, half way to a Knill payout!!
