Well I'm not going down for this one. It looks like another humping on the cards like the one we got way back in 68ish when we lost 1-6 on boxing day. I'm not expecting much but you have to have some hope and just maybe we will get a draw. Fingers crossed.

COYYS!!!!! time to step up and stand the line! :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf: :scarf:

I'll go for 2-2.
Oblivion!!!!

Well im going for a win........less pressure than at home, away from the disgusting abuse Bodin and McCourt, amongst others have been receiving of late, especially the Rovers game.

I'm hoping that oxgull has read the cards incorrectly and that they don't indicate a heavy defeat coming our way. If we remember that the season started in early August 2013 and it'll be 2014 by the time we kick off at Plymouth, and in all that time Argyle have amassed the grand sum of 8 league goals at Home Park. Every other club in the division (including us of course) has managed to score at least 3 more than that in front of their own fans.

If Argyle do manage to almost double their home goal tally in just one match it would be a major embarrassment for us, so we need to keep it tight, stay disciplined and let Bodin hit them on the break. We could do without a depressing start to the new year.

1969 and we didn't do as well as you suggest. Score one? We didn't get over the bloody half way line! 0-6. 4 from the milkman Mike Bickle and 2 from Norman Piper (and Westward tv showed Piper's long range free kick at the Devonport End in the opening sequence of their Sports Programme for at least two years after!). B*stards!!

Anyway this time round? We are in a false position in the league as are Argyle as they are nowhere near as good as recent results suggest. A Torquay win is on the cards. 2-1 I think .... but I really don't care about the actual score! ;-)

Definitely a 6 nil spanking. My cousin was goading me all the way through that game and when the 6th went in I'd had enough and chinned him, 7 years old at the time, where did all those years go ;-)

That 6-0 drubbing was one of the worst days that I have experienced as a Gulls fan. Horrible. And four goals by that cart horse Bickle. And the penalty was a joke! I will be at Home Park tomorrow, I don't want to go through a hiding like that again.

might have to get the canoes out for tomorrow; I had my very long home-knitted scarf ( with all the players' names sewn on) pinched at the 6-0 game. I ran after them & got it back & thereafter had a police escort ! Wonder what time the pitch inspection will be ? Plymouth's had a lot of flooding on the main roads recently; pitch might be ok, but access only by boat ? Off to the PASOTI site to see how full of New Year Cheer they are

Don't be shy, come and say hello so I can put a face to a name instead of stalking me! Get yourself to the match my good man whether it be on your tod or with your mates, keep the faith, match-days are the best part of the week. And if you stand somewhere near me and Andy most matches then you have my absolute sympathies!

Get your mates to the match, they may or may not enjoy it, but they'll certainly appreciate their lot in life a lot more afterwards! COYY!!

Knock out a few songs for me tomorrow as I shall be anticipating the game here in Peak District country. Ben will be there though, you know, the ugly one.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.
