Plymouth Argyle v Torquay United - 1/1/14
Hardly surprising with us seemingly having gone for broke.
Another pitiful result, yet somehow we aren't cast adrift yet. Thought we had turned a corner with the Southend/Dagenham results, but seems not. Not sure where we go from here, as if we were to get rid of Knill nobody has made a suggestion that is realistic and seems any better.

2-0 It's either Taxi for Knill or we go down and to be fair a lot of us have been saying this since October. We have had 7 points recently and still in the bottom 2. That mini run of form was vital or we'd be as good as down now. If the club have no money to sack him then fine but we are going down if that is the case. It is clearly obvious. So we'll leave it up to the board to decide our fate.
Oh and the football I've seen this season has been far far worse than under Ling if that were possible.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

When we went down before it was for the obvious reason that we had been taken over by a moron by the name of Roberts. There was nothing we could do to stop that but the Board got together to rescue the situation so we went into the Conference season with hope.
This year we have no excuse whatsoever. Our squad is more than good enough to be clear of relegation but we have throughout the season suffered from awful mismanagement of the team. If we want to go down fighting we have to gamble and bring in a new manager now. There's still plenty of time to save ourselves but there is no doubt that we are down if we continue blaming bad luck and waiting for things to change.

This bleating about how 'unlucky' we are. This is our 12th defeat. We cannot have been unlucky in all of them. At some point the club, the fans who continually promote this farcical notion that Knill is unlucky and will turn it around, at some point they have to accept that Knill is just not going to do it. He has been given to Christmas - too months longer than he should have been given and nothing has changed. In fact it is worse.
Plymouth fans chanting 'You're getting sacked in the morning!' - let's bloody hope so!
Second derby defeat in three days.
The performance does not mater. The history books will show defeats and if things are allowed to continue, they will show a second relegation to the conference. What a waste of all that hard work to get the club back in the league, to simply let this incompetent fritter our precious league status away.

Absolute rubbish. If anyone thinks we've got our tactics right, or that Knill deserves credit for trying his best to change the game then they clearly know very little about football. Whether we deserve to lose 3-1 to City or 2-0 to Plymouth is irrelevant, the only thing that matters is WE HAVE LOST THESE GAMES.
What is the point in thinking we've been unlucky, what is the point in playing 'a bit of alright stuff'(according to the scottish guy on the radio). The players have no belief, no confidence and no direction. The only way to change that is to get rid of the players, or get rid of the manager.
And there were people critisising those who weren't going today. I for one am glad I didn't ruin my New Year's Day.
I think we are going down, and feel let down by the people in charge of the club for the direction in which they are allowing us to drift.

Can't wait for the apologists to come online and start spouting about how unlucky we were.

It's coming together.............
Somebody is going to get thrashed at some point............
Hawley is misunderstood.................
Mansell is trying hard.................
Blah blah blah
