Joss Labadie
I cannot believe Labadie has played 21 times for Notts County this season and has decided to come here.
If he has only just come back from injury then I am gobsmacked. He actually looked a far better player yesterday than he did when he was here last season. I know he scored goals for us last season but he was in the game more yestreday. Strong, solid and assured.

I've seen him twice for Notts County this season and he was anonymous.
That said, if he performs for us again then great, and I think he will. My guess is that he needed some love that just wasn't happening at County after the change of manager.

A Herald express reporter on twitter has said that joss labadie has now signed a permanent deal with us? would be very happy if true! he's played 21 league 1 games this season, so I can't understand why he'd want to sign for us. But fair play Chris Hargreaves, you've done well there if, and that's a big if, this rumour is true!

Sounds like it is a Cooper situation of the player having an option IF we stay up. Fantastic news and hopefully he will be in yellow next season also

This is great news! I heard he was in on the goal by Bodin today! I think we're going to stay up!
Getting Labadie on a permanent contract is major coup for our club, with the Knill connections there was always a danger Northampton could have out bid us, and he's the player we've been missing in the middle.

At the end of the season when his current contract with us expires, then yes he could. I should imagine a contract to the end of the season suits both parties, for us we have very good player secured until May, and for Joss it gives him a chance to reassess his career while playing first team football.
Think we would all be delighted to see Joss stay and along term deal, however that could depend on what offers he gets from elsewhere he known to be happy and settled in the Midlands, to move down to the South west he will want a degree of security( possible 3 year contract), and who could blame him, not sure we could offer it.

Labadie was immense at Pompey. Great signing!!
Fate: A police dog called Bryn bit Torquay player Jim McNichol and the time while he was receiving treatment was added onto the end of the second half.
