Heard a rumour a minute ago of a cheap striker we might be signing! Not many people will be happy if it's true!

Correct! Scott Rendell. A cheap striker, tall and different to what we have at the moment. Don't think it would go down too well if this happens.

Heard it from a reliable source from within the club who knows Scott as well. Nothing concrete though.

Isn't Rendell a Luton player currently on loan at Woking? Mind you he and Benyon were a good pairing last time around.

Yeah he was on loan at Woking, just gone back to Luton. wiki says he scored 7 in 16 for them, not bad. Would the Torquay fans want him back?
