I can't imagine Hargreaves going after Rendell. Especially if he's after players like Enoch Showunmi

Is Showunmi just a rumour, or are there any legs to it?

Pretty strong legs to it I'd say

Is it from a reliable source though? It seems too good to be true.

I trust my source, I got the Hargreaves info early and other info that I will not sayLord_Torquay10 wrote:Is it from a reliable source though? It seems too good to be true.

spill the beans then! I could quite easily say that I know who we're going to sign, then when we sign someone, say that I'd knew all along!TeenageGull wrote: Take the hint of posts from me and Matt

Why would I tell you? Firstly its fun to watch you guess and secondly I don't like to give away all the information I know as my source might not like thatgullno4 wrote: spill the beans then! To be fair I don't think Rendell would be too bad a signing. When we had him on trial he was severely lacking match fitness and to score 7 times for Woking in an average BSP team creating minimal chances is a decent return showing he still could do a job at this level.

Indeed. Most of the reason why I didn't want us to sign him was because of how off the pace he looked in pre season. If he's fit as 16 games, albeit at a low level suggests, then he's worth it considering he's unlikely to be expensive and could prove to be a worthwhile gamble. His partnership with Benyon was very good first time around.AlexGulls wrote:To be fair I don't think Rendell would be too bad a signing. I agree, I think he would a useful signing, but thought fans wouldn't be pleased to see him return. The signing that I would have absolutely loved would be Matt Tubbs on loan, but he's just signed a one month loan with Crawley.
