Is it raining in the bay yet? It's been raining heavily in Plymouth for the last hour or so. Doesn't look too good for the match.

Overnight rain was definitely not as bad a predicted
If we can get lucky and avoid the rain up to kick off we might have a chance here!

Can't say whether the game will be on or not, can say, I worked nightshift, and the rain wasn't prolonged or heavy during the night, if the pitch covers have done their job who knows.
However just as I type this it's started to chuck it down.

Very little in the way of rain overnight, on the outskirts of Newton Abbot ... certainly no deluge here.
Latest tweet from the groundsman (in the last couple of hours) also sounds more positive ....
"forecast has changed to a much more positive one, lets hope it stays that way! just hope we didn't take to much overnight!"
Fingers crossed and hope to see you soon,
Actually its sunny up here - local game I had in reserve has just been called off though, so its Torquay or no football - think its gonna be no football!

Why are they having a pitch inspection at nine and another one at ten. Every forecast I have seen gives rain until around late afternoon and then its drying up. Really with that scenario the game hasn't got a hope surely?
