Interestingly, Newport have become so desperate to get a game on that they tried some sort of dome on the half of their pitch that is under water .... clearly though, even that wasn't enough to save another game from being postponed!
Bloody hell, a referee using common sense and calling the game off 6 hours before kick off because there was absolutely no chance the game would go ahead.

Could've used one of them on Saturday.

Weather has been dry and sunny in Brixham for most of the day(since 9am), apart from the odd shower. Hopefully TQ1 will have avoided the really bad stuff and the pitch will have recovered sufficiently to get the game on. COYY!

If you look at the forecast for the rest of the week we have been lucky that the best spell of weather for this week has come on the day (and the two days before the match). We have had more or less only one extended period of rain (overnight last night) in around three days.
If tonights game is off you have got to wonder when we are ever going to play at home.

Game on, as it should be after the dry sunny day today and the hard work of the ground staff..

Great news-wind dropped today as well,so will be able to keep the ball down.
Hopefully fans will turn-up in reasonable numbers tonight after no home game for over a month.

GET UP TO PLAINMOOR THIS EVENING...!!!

Everyone who can possibly do so should get up to Plainmoor this evening to welcome Chris Hargreaves to his first home game as manager and to cheer the lads on to a vital win.

We're already one game into a winning run now. We only have to win our remaining games to finish in the play-offs.. :-D

Not sure it will be football on the deck with the state of our pitch!
