4-1-2-1-2? 4-1-2-3? Good to see Nicholson and Benyon dropped.

Yes just one more and I would have been completely happy. But now he is playing I hope he scores the winning goal and shoves that comment down my throat! ;-)

there's being positive, and there's being realistic! if we can't put more than one past the only team in a worse position than us, then there's no way we're coming out of today's game with anything!

Great start - Chesterfield hit bar after Laffrope tries a flick and cocks up in midfield. Why is he an automatic choice anyway?

I am being positive - its still 0-0 somehow. Be game over as soon as they get one.

Why isn't Roberts playing for Chesterfield?

Gull IV is quite right. The idea that the fans of a team in our position are not anything but confident of a defeat away to a team in the position of Chesterfield is not negative, it's realistic. It's not negative to suggest that BenGull will not be the next Prime Minister, it's realistic. Thinking along any more optimistic lines leaves one open to far too much disappointment. Under promise and over deliver, classic customer service mantra.

Interesting neither Sinclair nor Connell started for Northampton this afternoon. Both on the bench.
Our match at Chesterfield is featured match in League 2 on BBC Five Live Sport.

***unhelpful post alert***

I don't know. He played the full 90 against Scunny and the Beeb reported no injury or suspension worries before the match. Perhaps Chesterfield playing the reserves to give the big boys a rest?

I hope, in the build up, one of their players was the subject of an unpunished foul, preferably a bad one which causes their player to miss several matches. I also hope that their club folds, but that's less relevant here.
