Mansfield ticket in advance only?
According to this: http://www.mansfieldtown.net/tickets/ticket-prices/ it says away fans can only get tickets in advance of the game. Bit of a daft decision to do really especially when most teams wont take many there. Will probably affect how many we take on Saturday week if thats the case?

Ridiculous rule. Sounds like the plod are over using their powers in Mansfield as well as Torbay. The police seem to have it in for football fans, but will happily allow poppy burning by bearded madmen in Luton.AlexGulls wrote:According to this: http://www.mansfieldtown.net/tickets/ticket-prices/ it says away fans can only get tickets in advance of the game. Away end holds 1800 but their website says away fans must buy tickets in advance.
Seems strange.

Another load of **** idiots making tin pot decisions. I'll ring them on Tuesday and explain that I live in Chesterfield and could pick one up but if not then I'm just not going to bother with the game. They can whistle for my cash and fully deserved. Lunacy. We're Torquay not **** Galatasaray the total morons.
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

A bit if a strong response granted but come on, people making these decisions should be looked at by specialists. If we did a survey of 1000 people including the man who came up with decision and asked if they thought this was a good idea then 999 would say it was crazy. That is what says it all. Find this man and put him on the dole queue as soon as is physically possible.

Hi guys stags fan in peace. First of all sorry about the situation you guys are in we as stags fans know how it feels being in non-league and hopefully you will bounce straight back up even though you aren't down yet games are running out.
As for the ticket situation don't get me started on it. We as fans are as baffled as the rest of you it's the most stupid idea anyone at the club has had in a while. Only Chesterfield and Portsmouth have filled the away end so all ticket isn't needed. However I will say if you are thinking of coming to the game you can get a ticket on the day. Away fans have been know to come to Mansfield and get tickets for the away end. The reason we have this all ticket crap is because we wanted full capacity again the SAG which is some safety rubbish reduce our capacity for nothing and this was the only way to get it back up. So the official line is no tickets will be sold on the day for away fans but you can get them.
Anyway good luck in the future hope you bounce back soon. Hope to see as many of you as possible up here in Mansfield next Saturday.

Very informative comment. Seems like the Safety Advisory Committee in Mansfield has the same amount of jumped up Health and Safety zealotry as the Torbay one. Who the hell do these fanatics think they are? They are PUBLIC servants and they have clearly forgotten this.Stagsfan wrote:Hi guys stags fan in peace. I wouldn't be surprised if there was an anti-football loony in a senior position at the Home Office orchestrating this nonsense nationally. My experience of working with one Government Department in particular tells me that the maddest, most fanatical senior officers in the Department are usually put in charge of Health and Safety Policy and Equality & Diversity Policy.

Just spoken to the club (Mansfield) and they have confirmed that i cannot pop in and pick a ticket up tomorrow even though i live 12 miles from Field Mill. They want me to ring up Torquay and get my ticket in advance but i don't have a debit card anymore so can't do this. I don't want to waste time PM - ing people so could i ask Ben or Alex or Mark or anyone coming up for the game if they could buy a ticket for me from Plainmoor and i'll give them the cash on the way up and buy them a pie? Let me know anyone otherwise i won't be able to go.
Can the bloke who decided this be taken around the back of the ground and harpooned please? No doubt a coffee swilling, hot dog guzzling overweight sex pest sat behind a desk all day viewing porn and sweating whilst trying to justify his employment no doubt?
And i thought WE were supposed to be tin pot?
Cheers lads!
