Let's do a Dagenham and get Cobblers down!
Not having a pop at here Andy, but I don't understand why, did Northampton have significantly more money , than us, or other teams in league 2, according to the information re-posted by Gulliball Northampton's wage budget was £200k more than ours and 8th equal in league 2, ok £200k is a lot of money, however to a point it would only pay the wages of 2 top quality players at this level.
On the flip side our wage budget seems to have been more than 50 % greater than Accrington's they've stayed in the league we haven't, so your right money isn't everything, it's how you use it.
Ok Northampton have got their fair share of openly arrogant fans, but hey, every club has them, even us during our brief periods of success. Northampton had been in the bottom 2 since September, they were a long way adrift , they were in a bigger mess than we were, the thing is, as a club they identified what the problems were, and what was needed to do to fix them.
Northampton have recognised the importance of retaining their league status and have gone way past that extra mile to stay up, where as we've appeared to take our FL status for granted, if the Cobblers survive next week, I'm not going to be jealous, not going wish bad things upon them, just going to say fair play and congratulate that club for doing all the things that we didn't do.

No worries Dave. I know Northampton will be a force in the conference and it's added competition for us but I'm just being immature again mate. :na:
1. I can't let go of the fact that the most expensive ticket for an away game I've ever bought was this season at Sixfields. For that alone they should be relegated.
2. They gave Knill another opportunity in football management despite largely failing in his career thus far including being greatly responsible for setting the wheels in motion of our relegation. If I had gone for an interview and said I'd been sacked on a number of occasions in previous employments for not doing my job properly then I'd struggle to find work. He is totally shit and I don't like him. I'm being genuine there.
Numbers 1 and 3 are slightly tongue in cheek but you get the idea.
3. Northampton isn't a million miles from me so assuming they bring ticket prices down I can go to another away game!
I should really start learning to forgive and forget.

Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Knill came last in the show, but it didn't matter to him - it felt like a win anyway....

What an anxiety sufferer standing in front of a room full of people?!lucy6lucy wrote:Thought about taking up stand up comedy Andy .

No Luce, my musings just make me laugh to myself that's all. I doubt 99% of folk find them amusing but if you are in the remaining 1% then go to your doctor immediately although I'm happy if it makes someone else happy.
(Knill excepted of course. =D )

you'd get the biggest laugh just standing there without saying anything.

Indeed we were Supes. In fact I know it's hard to believe but I'm actually the intelligent one. :-oSuperNickyWroe wrote: we're you two seperated at birth then?

I know I'm being personal about Knill, Bodin and Hawley on this thread and I know it's unnecessary and childish but hey, I'm sure they aren't fussed one bit with how things are going for them. The insults aren't warranted but I've just lost all respect for them. They are just mercenaries who won't take responsibility for failure but who want to still get paid IMO. I just wanted to get the Knill thing out of my system.
I think we should all just come back refreshed next season and try to give it one last shot, give the club the benefit of the doubt once more and hope to see some good times back and enjoy going to games again.
Enjoy the summer all!!
