Home Shirt at Sports Direct.com

Post by gullsfanatic1986 »

Just in case people are annoyed at the club or dont want to get ripped off, just seen on sportsdirect.com that the home shirt is £11.99.
Personally I hate the shirt but at £12 then it is a bargain

I still wouldn't bloody buy it, even at that price ! Especially since after I kept saying its a bloody jinx and it has now become the shirt from the season we were relegated from the football league. :@

Seeing as they are knocking them out for a fraction of the price does that mean I can rejoice as it is being binned to make way for a more sensible one next season. Hopefully a return to our proper colours of yellow/gold and blue with no bloody white in it (unless we have a Brazillian). :-D
You are my torquay, my only torquay, you make me happy when skies are grey, you'll never know, just, how much i love you, so don't take my torquay away.

Thank you for this information. Your posting highlights one of the positive features of a football fans forum.

I regularly visit the Sports Direct website but would never have dreamt of searching for Torquay United shirts. If the response is low there is every chance that the prices of the shirts will be reduced even further, but that is always a gamble.

The club wont drop the prices down even further, I spoke to julia who runs the shop and she said there is no way they can match it or get anywhere near it. So feel free to buy away

I was all set to get one but when I noticed that the price to ship the shirt to me was more than the cost of the shirt itself..... Buzzkill! Thanks for posting though!

Enjoy the leftover stock. =D

I paid £40 and feel violated physically, mentally and financially. :-/

PLUS £20 for the little ones shirt!!! :'(

Betrayal!!! :S
Strangely enough it was Pope Gregory the 9th inviting me for drinks aboard his steam yacht, the saucy sue currently wintering in montego bay with the England cricket team and the Balanese Goddess of plenty.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I thought the reason we paid £40 to the club shop for our shirts was that the extra profit goes towards supporting TUFC. Surely buying a shirt cheaply from Sports Direct is a bit disloyal ?
Also want to mention a big thanks to those fans who paid out between £200 and £300 for the special shirts auctioned after the last game.
