Went down at about half 1. I'm sat here rather impatiently with a list of the 9 closest away games awaiting the fixture list, slow day at work.

Home 12th August - Excellent, we are in Torquay that week.
Would like to go to Gateshead but it's an awful long way especially travelling on summer Saturday.

We play Rovers twice in 6 days, home on Boxing Day, then away to them on the 1st Jan.
What's the betting that one of these fixtures will be televised.

Anyone heading to Chester, Southport or Halifax away? They're the main ones for me at the moment. Looks like some of the weaker teams at home first, need to try and get some home form going early on.
Not great for me. Eastleigh, Woking, Aldershot and welling all not till next year. Only Dartford which is still a long haul really.

Looking at some of those fixtures does bring it home where we find ourselves again but also gives hope that we can look forward to a reasonable season.

Most likely to only be away days for me this season: Lincoln, Grimsby, Telford, Forest Green, Alfreton, Barnet, Macclesfield, Nuneaton, Halifax.

It's a real shame the Forest Green away fixture is on a Tuesday night. Also two very good away days in Hereford and Salisbury were lost when they were booted out of the division to be replaced by a couple which won't be nearly as good unfortunately. Apart from a few occasions we'll have to get used to basically playing exclusively in front of a home crowd with no away support. Overall I am still looking forward to getting started with a few new grounds to visit, hopefully with any luck we might be able to get some points on the board early doors.
