Sounds like we are on top apart from Southport breaking on our left. We should get Pearce and Ajala on for Tonge and Cruise - go 3 at the back with Pearce on the left side to nullify Evans and McDonald on the right while having more numbers up front.

Bowman is evidently another one of these footballers who only has a couple of brain cells knocking about. Look, you incline your head you will get sent off and you will look like a complete **** and will get a serious bollocking from your manager. You also miss 3 weeks of football.Just don't do it, especially if you just lean in and don't even make the kind of contact that would leave a bump. It's just handbags with footballers. Either do a Zidane and floor them, or just be the bigger man and shut them up with a goal.

Well done to all the players who were professional enough to do their jobs and put in a good performance without being complete pricks in the process.

I hope that Hargreaves manages to get over to the players, particularly the young ones, that revenge is a dish best served; (a) cold and (b) when the officials aren't looking.
