Advertising games

Post by arcadia »

Why is it that there are no monthly posters advertising the Torquay United games last week was the first time that the fixtures have been on the forum.
The club should be advertising games in the big supermarkets in Torquay, Paignton, Brixham and Newton Abbot.
If this was done I'm sure that we would attract at least another 50 people and winning games attracts more. :keepie:

Agreed. And looking back over the years there always used to be a smallish ad on the back page of the Herald Express, and there were always so many shops with posters to advertise games. It's an area where the club appears to have taken it's eye off the ball.

There's an old saying: 'It pays to advertise'...

Matt.
I spoke to someone last week and offered to try and get one up in Paignton if we had someone from the other areas we could improve our lot.
Matt I ran a successful non-league club for over 15 years with little help, I know what it's like. :keepie:
