He's slowly drifting, drifting away,
game after game, game after game,
He's drifting!
Wave after wave, wave after wave (bye)!
Hargreaves 'wants chance'...

Once a manager starts to make excuses you know he's got to go. It's not like CH didn't know what he had to work with when he took the job, so using that as an excuse for not being able to bring in useful players, motivate them and put them together as a team is ****shit.
Even if if we manage to get the results required to stay up I can't see things improving next year - CH simply hasn't got what it takes.

What a miserable load of so-called 'supporters' you lot are. You're not helping the team, the manager, or the club you claim to support, with all this whingeing and blame-mongering.
I suggest you all go over to the away end and support the opposing teams. Our lads would probably put in better performances if you did that..

.........he has had a chance after each of the 65 competitive games he has been in charge of - win. lose or draw - to improve performance. How many more bloody chances does he need.
I cannot see any consistent improvement in the performances of the players in the teams he selects week in, week out.
"They are young players - they/we will learn from this" - have they? have you Hargreaves? Both you and they must be either slow learners or there is a very poor teacher.
I fail to understand how more chances will suddenly turn this shambles into a fully functioning, efficient unit producing acceptable results.
And PLEASE do not just regurgitate the frankly boring and worn out defensive rhetoric that "he is hamstrung" /"he has Knill's players"/"wait until he has his own team" /"he has no budget" - with the exception of using Knill's name in front of the word players, Hargreave's position of having to use existing players, having a small or no budget is no different to probably 65/70% of the other teams in this division - but we do not have 60%+ of the division performing as poorly or worse than us.
Hargreaves is not the answer.

Yep, and we're all getting too emotional and losing our sense of perspective and objectivity. Many on these threads could not do a better job of damning CH and the players if these so-called Gulls fans really were supporters of opposing teams. That's not helping the club at all. In the situation we're in there's nothing that can or should be done, at least until the season's over and we can see what transpires from Kelvin Thomas's efforts. In the meantime, we should either support our team or (as many seem to have done) piss off out of the way..taxilady wrote:Ricey does !
