Annoying, I was hoping he'd be a key part of a rebuild but I guess you can't blame him. We've been awful this year.

Shame, but not a massive loss. Look at his background when we signed him - there will be other similar players we can try to attract
No surprise to me either, a work colleague of mine is a personal friend of Toby Ajala, I posted it on this site a while back Toby Ajala was not staying with the club, he (TA) told my work colleague he had no intention of staying and some reasons why, which I wont go into, good player at this level, but as said not outstanding.

Probably the least surprising piece of news to come out of the club so far.
He had several offers on the table when he joined and never appears to stay anywhere for long so he's never going to be a player to show loyalty and remain when the going gets tough. Never mind, the search will continue for a tricky winger.

TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.

No surprise, and he is replacable. A good, but not consistently outstanding player, at this level.
Perhaps he thinks he is Raheem Sterling.
All the talk of Lavercombe going to Liverpool for a trial must have gone to his head!!!hector wrote:Perhaps he thinks he is Raheem Sterling.
Plenty of endeavour however didn't show a great deal of end product.
10/10 for effort though!

Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.

I liked Toby, not afraid to fly in with a tackle, good on the ball, perhaps not so good off it, quick pace and trickery which needed refining but I enjoyed watching him in a TUFC shirt.
Sad that he's decided not to accept the contract but once someone has turned down a contract there's no way he can stay. I heard things about a bust up with Bowman, and this was evident at a few of the games I attended they just didn't want to assist the other. Shame, but the club moves on.

Anyone with any insight as to what clubs might be interested?
