Guess Cox's first signing
Guess Cox's first signing
Gone a bit quiet on here over the weekend so just for a bit of fun - who do you think will be Paul Cox's first TUFC signing?
Without any inside info my best guess is:
Rob Taylor - Free Agent (Left winger/wing-back)

re-signing aaron dawson. Uninspiring but cheap.
Saah would be good but he left to move to with family to London area... so would imagine hed wanna wait til end of summer to get a more local club to him.

Can't see Cox signing Dawson. He likes strong players, not powder-puff-scared-of-heading-the-ball ones.

TUFC never fails to let its fanbase down.
27/08/18 - Time to step back from this shambles and focus on things in life that make me happy. TUFC doesn't.

A 31 year old, former international, goalkeeper/coach.
Judging by tonight's fans forum , it's going to be an experienced goalkeeper a thirty something that will also double up as GK coach

No way. yes he was a useful player. but he is also injury prone. torn hamstrings. achilles and niggling others. he has missed almost 2 whole seasons of football due to injuries. we can't afford thatRichinns wrote:Gone a bit quiet on here over the weekend so just for a bit of fun - who do you think will be Paul Cox's first TUFC signing?

list of injuries
2010/11. hamstring. 1 months out
2011/12 Achillies 3 months out
2012/13 calf 2 months out
2013/14 achillies again. 5 months out
2014/15 few appearances as out of favour
thats his league history. maybe a good lower conference player due to his injury list which suggests he cant cope with higher league pressure on the body

Have looked at his record and he doesnt seem to be able to cement a decent chance at any club. do you really think he is good enough for us. it sounds as if he is a player who flatters to deceive.

judging by some of the quips on here i am wondering why someone hasn't thought of Robin Stubbs. a proven goalscorer and legend in yellow or golden Blue as we used to call it.
Always Look on the bright side of life

How about Lenny Pidgeley, 31year old goalkeeper just released by Newport? Played for England up to U20 level and previously at loan at Mansfield as well. Spent a year at Exeter too.
