I thought he had a really good game last night. Put himself about in challenges, looked comfortable on the ball and can pass short and long.

Now announced by the club:
http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 65487.aspx

On the face it not what I expected us to bring in regarding the central midfield position. I was expecting a tough tackling no nonsense type and harrying type of player as we only have Richards of this mould whilst Luke Young, Briscoe and Chaney are more 'attacking'. Obviously Cox sees it differently and I am happy to trust his judgement (he know far more than I!).

Did he play centrally last night?

Was apparently on trial with Boston back in January and played in a reserve game as a right-winger...

I'm pretty happy with this after seeing him last night. I'm quite surprised to see he's an attacking mid actually, as he flew into a few tackles and broke up play. In Cox we trust!

I see he was on the books of Crystal Palace at one time. Does anyone know if he is related to Terry Fenwick who played for Palace and who also 'flew into tackles' to put it mildly !!!

Got a suspicion that Fenwick might turn out to be something special. He must have made one hell of an impact, as it seems he wasn't even training with us last weekend yet by Thursday morning he's offered a contract. Compare that with Jamie Richards, who's been with us all pre season but seemingly hasn't been offered anything yet

He must have impressed Deano because he played for 'us' last Saturday at the Bournemouth tournament.

Completely agree. Looked good in the tackle and not afraid to get stuck in against Yeovil. A tidy acquisition to the squad for sure.
