UK Home Office statistical bulletins and the British Crime Survey:
Men made up about 40 percent of domestic violence victims each year between 2004-05 and 2008-09, the last year for which figures are available. There are 7,500 places for abused women in the UK, and just 60 for men - in the entire UK.

National Centre for Domestic Violence [UK]:
The police receive a 999 call every three minutes from a male victim
1 in 6 men will experience Domestic Violence in their life
9% of all reported violent crimes are Domestic Violence cases involving male victims
Every third victim of Domestic Violence is a man
Approximately 4 million men are affected every year by domestic violence
Practically the same percentage of men as women are victims of severe acts of Domestic Violence.
For every 10 women killed by a male partner, 8 men are killed by a female partner.

NSPCC Childline:
Childline receives more calls from children about abusive mothers and other abusive women than about abusive fathers and other men.

The percentages have been in the past hard to find as the statistics for male victims/female abusers have been mainly hidden away and ignored thanks to politically correct ideology in officialdom and the media. And men are far less likely to come forward after domestic abuse and will very rarely seek help. If a violent mother abuses her young kids and their father, where can he turn for help and refuge? If he leaves the household he will leave his kids unprotected, if he takes the kids he will be accused of kidnapping, if he resists her violence she will accuse him of abuse and he will be arrested. http://www.independent.co.uk/news/uk/cr ... 05586.html

Against a backdrop of boy's showing poorer results than girls in education, t-shirts are still being sold showing the words ‘Boys are stupid - throw rocks at them’. The idea that someone would tell boys they are stupid or bone idle lazy because of their gender is extraordinarily troubling.

Most adults have developed defence mechanisms to protect their self-esteem. Children often don't have those mechanisms in place yet and so are much more impacted by the opinions others have of them. So it might seem to young boys that the shirts are just stating something that is supported by the evidence.

But there is in fact much more going on in education which is being ignored and which is impacting boy's school results: the absence of male teachers and role models in boys’ lives, female teachers who give boys lower ratings than girls solely because they are boys, and the toxic anti-male atmosphere in many classrooms. Educators know it too (they talk about it from time to time) but apparently aren't interested in fixing the problem.

We hear a lot about paedophilia, rape, and domestic violence. Everybody abhors these things. But we hear little about the unfortunate fact that children are more likely to be abused by their mothers or other females than they are by their fathers or other men. And why do we hear little about the unfortunate fact that the overwhelming majority of child murderers are women? http://judgybitch.com/2015/08/28/women-who-kill/

And on the circumcision of boys (warning: this video contains images some may find disturbing):

Fatherless boys are 5 times more likely to commit suicide;
Fatherless girls are 7 times more likely to become single mothers;
Fatherless children are 15 times more likely to develop behavioural problems, and 7 times more likely to drop out of school.

Meanwhile:
Half of all relationships breakdown in the first three years of parenthood. Three quarters of these breakups involve unmarried parents.
Then there are the single mothers who never had living-together relationships: our taxes help pay for their living expenses, their accommodation, and any other tiny tots (politeness prevents me from using certain other words) they decide to have in the future.
And kids suffer far more abuse from women than from men: http://www.avoiceformen.com/feminism/fe ... r-society/

Kids at university? Warn them against ideological indoctrination and totalitarianism such as this:
http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/16439/ http://www.thecollegefix.com/post/26183/

This was first published in March 2015, and showed the anti-male bias of female Lib Dem MPs with respect to an Early Day Motion on shared parenting. Not one of them signed the motion. Happily and perhaps significantly, none of them were re-elected at the 2015 general election. https://hequal.wordpress.com/2015/03/24 ... -lib-dems/

In France and other countries, you can have consensual sex with a 14-year-old and it's not a crime (unless you're a teacher, etc..). And in the UK, the age of criminal responsibility is 10, lower than in many other countries. So it might be advisable to teach your sons not to trust the police and to insist upon a lawyer being present before answering any questions, as this case of a falsely accused 12-year-old boy will explain: http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/so ... st-7639672
