The seige mentality
The seige mentality
I would appeal for any TUFC fan who reads this site whether your diehard, occasional or currently a stay away fan to watch this video and take in every word said in it. I've talked about this TUFC against the world mentality in some of my match threads, think Dean Edwards has that spot on, our club does find itself in a position that's no fault of the current ownership, board and staff.
I think the majority of fans do get it, certainly Monday at Eastleigh every fan in the ground got it, not a crossed word, or single shout of player X you this that and the other, even at 3.0 down all you could hear was TUFC support, at the end of the game I said to another forum member how I was bursting with pride, sticking together is the only thing that will take us through this period in our clubs history.
Also thanks to Steve Breed and Dean Edwards for producing this video.

£7,000..!! Come on folks, let's get it up to £10,000. Just another two or three hundred supporters, each giving £5 or £10 or £15 per week/month, whatever you can afford. Could make all the difference. http://www.torquayunited.com/news/artic ... 75268.aspx
Excellent straightforward stuff from Dean -
A large amount of realism that we all need to take on board to see the club successful again.
I bet by the end of October we will be in a healthy league position, and come Christmas/New Year all the hard work being put in by Dean, Steve, the Board, the Management, the Players, and the Supporters will see things improve even more ...

Well. I don't think Ive ever heard such a passionate, realistic and HONEST interview with someone involved with football EVER!
Agree with all of what Dean said!
I have no expectations this season, well just one actually, that the Football club survives and actually exists at the end of the season.

Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory.

Quite impressed with Deano's interview. A 'positive mentality' is certainly one worth aiming for. However, regarding investment, the misfortunes of Thea and her money should be a salutary warning for anyone who is not a multi-millionaire with ideas about putting money into the club. It seems to me that there exists, in most football clubs, a bottomless pit into which all money flows - and is never seen again.

Exactly. We should be proud of a football club that lives within its means. Actually quite impressed with Wenger again as he doesn't just spend money for the sake of it, even when fans are calling for 50/60/70 million to be spent, ridiculous.
