Next Manager- confirmed: Kevin Nicholson
I like the idea of more communication from the club. My mate is a Villa fan and they used to have a thread on their Heroes and Villians forum to ask the cheif exec questions and then he (General someone?) would come on every week or so and answer them.
In our case though perhaps Dave Thomas could offer a ghost writing service...

Why shouldn't breedy put his point across? He has recieved a bit of stick, unfairly in my opinion. Like he says, he has taken a leap of faith, done more than any other supporter to keep our club alive, so yes, he should retaliate and stick up for himself. If it we're myself, I would of told the moaners to F-off weeks ago!
Keep up the good work Breedy!

Perhaps mansell might be involved at some point
There's only one Kevin Nicholson!
Whatever your pre-conceived ideas of how good a manager Nicho may be now is the tim for us to put all of that aside and get behind the new gaffer.

Thats me done.... I CANNOT believe the believe the board have done this. 129 or whatever applicants and the best of them is someone who has never managed in the game, this is the final nail in the coffin for TUFC and it will be conference south football next year or closure.

So rather than go for a manager with experience of motivating and organising a team of youngsters we've gambled on a rookie. This is such a "Torquay United" appointment.
I'll support him but this doesn't look to me what we need.

Nicho will not have been the preferred candidate of many fans certainly wasn't mine, but the sort of manager us fans were hankering after is currently beyond the finances of the club, to try and get a highly qualified, manager with a good CV to come here was going to take money our club didn't have.
We have no choice but to back our new manager, his job going to be hard enough, even harder with out us on his side, with out our backing this really will end one way, and it wont be a nice ending.
Give Nicho a chance to show us want he can do.

OMG!!
Firstly, I will support Nicholson and welcome him back to the club!
Secondly, so are they saying out of the 129 applicants none of them have had managerial experience. This is a very backward step in my opinion. At least Hargreaves had been at Bournemouth and had a bit of experience.
How they can put trust into a person who has never even managed a team.
If he had never of played for Torquay he wouldn't be getting this job!!
Anyway, rant over.
Welcome back and good luck Nico!!!
