Ramshaw offered his assistance during the transitional period ONLY. He had no intention to stay on any longer. FACT.
The fact Nicho had his own #2 was a major relief to him.
Someone who puts the club before his own ego and people want to have a go??? Beggars belief.
Clubs on his CV you have never heard of?? Wow!!! From "big time Torquay" LOL
Hucknall Town, Eastwood Town, Hednesford Town all Conference North (a level TUFC may be competing at sooner than they think) and Leek Town a former Conference National Club.
Actually a very impressive non league CV. Time to wake up and smell the coffee mate. Torquay United ARE a non league club.
Shepshed Charterhouse, Oakham United, Kidsgrove Athletic, Arnold Town.
Gary Johnson's Yellow Army! Yellow Army! Yellow Army!

well said Ben. ..how many other assistants would acted so selfless...could have walked away but no made some nice comments and was refreshing. perhaps other more important matters but I would have happily stuck a couple of quid into a kitty for nice bottle of scotch to say thank you.

It would be interesting to know who decided that John Ramshaw's generous offer was not wanted. I would have thought that his knowledge of the players strengths and weaknesses would have been of great benefit to Kevin Nich, or simply helping Kevin to get to know the squad. But there you are - nothing much adds up at Plainmoor at present. One thing is for sure - John Ramshaw can hold his head up high over the debacle of the past fortnight. Thanks John, and may you (and Paul Cox) end up at a club that is not in such financial turmoil as we are at present.
