From what I've been seeing over the last few months it seems the WMN's reporting is dodgy at best.

When the CEO woke up this morning he must have known he would have the press on his tail.

All he needed to say was " I can make no Statement until after a meeting of the Board of Directors which will be held in the next 48 hours"

Why don't we just get off his back. We are eight points behind Welling with 22 games to play. It's far from impossible. Instead of possibly slashing the club apart why don't we all just concentrate on that.

People are hitting the nail on the head with THE question those who have run the club need to answer - why are we pleading hopelessness because we are more impoverished than many teams with smaller gates who do better without these excuses. I accepted it as reality in Div 2 (although Dagenham, Morecambe, Accrington survived there with smaller gates) & as an excuse for not being Conference promotion contenders, but it no longer washes against some tiny clubs above us now. A few weeks back we had the 2nd best gate in our league.
It also begs the question about Nicho's FB statement: he says we have players on peanuts, yet says his predecessor splashed out the budget for 1,800 break-even gates. Which is it? Are our players' wages peanuts compared to other less well-supported teams above us, (if so why?) or have they all been handed contracts worth at least what those clubs pay, leaving Kevin hamstrung because the players are not worth the contracts they were given (or they're underperforming)

On this one I am quite happy to wait for the statement after the borad meeting. I've gven Mr Breed a fair bit of stick but on this one I think its fair enough to wait.

I have been reading this forum throughly for the past few days, refused to comment as of yet because I don't want to come across as one that takes sides, appreciating the knowledge past on by Torquay fans ltd etc. Having spoken to one or two people involved within the club recently, it wasn't until a few posts ago that something hit me, and it all puzzled together, the things that different people have said has all come together, some how. So from that my understanding is, avoid relegation (somehow) and next season will be a hell of a lot better, with nicho leading the team. Go down, and it's going to be a tough road ahead, if there is a road. But, between now and then, we have to all keep up the fantastic effort of getting behind the team, supporting tufc, and being the best fans there is! Because the club needs us, weather we like the board or not!
To the dotted line, We're on our way
