Jeff is spot on we have to play it on the ground because Downes is so good in the air. The good thing is Downes lacks pace and Marsh and Wright are very quick.

If Courtney Richards inspires the team we could see another shock result. 1-1 is my prediction.

Just tried to PM you the following, don't think it worked

Hi DJ Gull, I'll be leaving Bristol at 1230. If you want to get the train to Bristol, I can pick you up and drop you off at Temple Meads. It's 35 quid return from Newton Abbott. Let me know if interested and I'll send you my number. You'll have to get a move on though!

Just checked my mail, thank you for the offers gentlemen but I've been a bit slow to react, rubbish at this online stuff! And really wasn't expecting offers for lifts. Really appreciate it though, hope you both enjoy the game, bring back 3 points if you can. Thank you again, depending how today goes might see you at FGR!

Hi Kernow. I need a lift from Gloucester as its bank holiday. I'm not terribly mobile and the buses don't run right to get me there within a reasonable time or get me back either. 07890891345

tomogull wrote:What Nicho and the lads need to show now is that Saturday's game was not simply a flash in a pan. There needs to be a consistency and that will generate the points. Whatever tomorrow brings, if the team plays as they did on Saturday, there will be no negative comments. As Forever has posted (yet another good match pre view by the way), Cheltenham are on a long unbeaten run but they all come to an end eventually - and usually unexpectedly, so here's hoping.

My worry is Downes from corners he scored one last week.

We have FGR many corners some very cheaply and they won the majority of headers from them. With someone like Downes attacking them concerns me.

But who knows, no one predicted Boxing Day, play with the same fight and passion and who knows!

We know Downes strengths and weaknesses, hopefully we can capitalise on this.

If we show the same organisation and effort as we did against FGR then we might be in with a shout.

Anyone know if Carmichael has gone or injured again? He's not in the squad today.

I hope Wright has an injury (nothing serious though) to switch him for Finch, or if not that, again, highlights Nicholson's lack of managerial skill.

Go on Finch make me eat my words and score!!!

Added in 9 minutes 17 seconds:
WTF ?? Taking Marsh off now - for a defender.

What other manager would take off 2 strikers (who have been scoring!) and replace with a winger in the midfield (for the first time) and a defender moved upfront. Especially when you are playing top of the table????????

Someone with footballing mind please explain, because I cannot understand !
