Why do you think this? What's the reasoning to this assumption?

Isn't Brett Williams on loan at FGR (he played against us in both games over Xmas), or has that ended?
It ended because Stevenage, or more accurately Tedy Sheringham, wanted a fee for him and Ady Pennock (FGR Manager) wasn't prepared to pay one. On that basis alone, I would think that would rule us out of acquiring his services on a permanent basis I.e because we couldn't afford to pay a fee! Unless we are trying to bring him in on loan?Jeff wrote:Isn't Brett Williams on loan at FGR (he played against us in both games over Xmas), or has that ended?
Alternatively it could just be that "haz316" has just plucked his name out of thin air! He (Williams) would certainly be a decent addition given his scoring record at this level with Aldershot in recent seasons.

It's not just about strengthening the squad. Remember the six Ps. Prior Preparation Prevents P*** Poor Performance..
Steve Breed has said on BTPIR that his "shit day" was due to personal issues and not TUFC related.

Does anyone know why we have signed Aman Verma on loan until the end of the season rather than on a short term contract? Is it because it is cheaper? Can Kiddy, who have just parted company with Dave Hockaday, recall him?
Dave Thomas is concerned that we are filling up our loan quota of 5 in each match day squad. If Verma was our player it would release another loan place and if we could do a cheap deal with say WBA for another youngster it could still be cheaper to sign Verma rather than another player on a short term contract.
Any thoughts?

Keohane, daniel and wright re joining would of been great for our small hopes of survival.
If daniel and wright sign we are in business. Ajala is too inconsistant to pin our hopes on.
If tues game goes ahead it is a must win.

I watch a FREE agent trial match today full of British, French, Dutch and African players, all are free agents between 18-25 years, 4 could play national league, there are players out there but you need resources and time to go and watch them, you need to then get them down to training and see how they acclimatise to the level, French player was ex-pro had an injury making a comeback 22 years old, good player!
