Moore; very assured and one very good save
Racchi; played his heart out against his old club (not that he hasn't in other matches)
MacDonald; rock solid and one of his best performances tonight
Butler; dependable
Smith: ditto, come to expect it from him by now.

Overall, if I had to vote for one, I'd give it to Gus, impressive and authoritative.

Fifth place was a toss up between Richards, Moore and Racchi. Courtney just shaded it for me tonight. I thought he had a much better game than the last time I saw him play (v. Kidderminster)

Significant number of defenders getting the vote on here. We need some better performances from the front men!

McDonald - my standout player, assured defending
Moore - confident keeping with one excellent save to deny Halifax
Smith - no nonsense support for McDonald
Racchi - protected the back 4 well
Richards - a better game than he has managed for a while
Phil

We've got two centre backs that should probably be playing league football - they were by far the stand outs.
