A shame for Angus, but he's more than done his job for us over the last two months when we really needed him to. If we can win today and secure our safety then he can get two thirds of his ban over and done with this season when we're already safe.
I never, ever thought he'd last anything like this long, and he's been in excellent form during this spell as well, topped off with the goal today.

Sounds like a lot of bookings in this, any dissent against the referee is resulting in a yellow it seems. Nice that the referee isn't taking any rubbish.

Boreham Wood 2-1 up. Even if we win this, we still aren't mathematically safe after today.

All it needs is for Aldershot to equalise and the other games to stay the way they are - then safety is mathematically secure.Orange Gull wrote:Boreham Wood 2-1 up. Even if we win this, we still aren't mathematically safe after today.

I think technically we might be safe if we win, not sure if this is right or I'm massively confused. Next week Boreham Wood (44 pts) play Guiseley (46 pts), so if Boreham Wood win, they'll go up to 47 points leaving Guiseley on 46 points which leaves them 4 behind us going into the final day. Likewise a draw or loss for Boreham will leave them 5 or 6 points behind us. All of this of course is based on us not winning another point.

Nope, we are mathematically safe if we win, as BW play Guiseley next week, and both need to win 2 games to overtake us, which is not possible as they play each other.Orange Gull wrote:Boreham Wood 2-1 up. Even if we win this, we still aren't mathematically safe after today.
So unless Guiseley get back in to their game, we are safe
