Next season should be an interesting one in the Southern League, with Hereford (who are playing at Wembley in the FA Vase final) promoted into it along with Salisbury. Just shows that clubs (or their legal successors) can bounce back from oblivion with the support of fans and community (Hereford have often had 4000 crowds watching them).
They will play Bideford (relegated from the Southern League Premier) and teams such as Barnstaple, Tiverton, Taunton, Bridgwater, and Winchester.
I wonder how long it will take Hereford to get back into the Football League, three tiers above. I wish them (and our Devon clubs, of course) the best of luck..

Agreed - good to see the fortunes of Hereford and Salisbury turning for the better. Not so good for Hereford at Wembley today, though - they were beaten 4 - 1 by Morpeth (I bet it was a more entertaining match than the F.A. Cup Final !). Also, Halifax beat Grimsby 1 - 0 in the F.A. Trophy. Crazy. Halifax couldn't beat Macclesfield at home on the last day of the season yet beat promoted Grimsby at Wembley. I suspect the Grimsby players are already on their summer hols ......Gullscorer wrote: Next season should be an interesting one in the Southern League, with Hereford (who are playing at Wembley in the FA Vase final) promoted into it along with Salisbury.
