2016/17 fixtures
it's finally come around again, fixtures day is tomorrow! i think they are normally released around midday?
as usual its to northern games i'm craving! particularly the ones at york, macclesfield and lincoln, so just hoping beyond hope that they all fall on saturdays, and hopefully saturdays that won't fall foul or either the weather, or fa cup or trophy dates!

Let's hope the National League people have ditched their old Sinclair computer (older members will remember them) and invested in a new system so that we don't get anything like the bizarre 2015/16 fixtures whereby we played some clubs home and away within a few weeks and yet other clubs not until the latter half of the season.

Lincoln? i just hope we have a balanced home/away schedule, unlike last year. Get barrow/Gateshead away early on and the village team over Xmas.bixieupnorth wrote:it's finally come around again, fixtures day is tomorrow! i think they are normally released around midday?

i'm pleased with that, altho two of my mates who enjoy a day out at the football are at a punk festival in blackpool for the opening trip to macc!
york will be rammed with xmas shoppers and lincoln could be extra busy with pilgrims heading there for good friday religious business

That looks a much better fixture schedule than last season. Well done National League for that.
Personally bit disappointed that the closest games bar FGR and aldershot are all Tuesday's; eastleigh, Woking, Solihull, Sutton and Dagenham would all have been games I considered travelling to but no chance on a Tuesday.
