Ruairi Keating
Ruairi Keating
In a typical twitter rumour, the 21-year old Irish striker has been following the club and some of the players here over the past few days. Previous clubs include ROI sides Sligo Rovers, Galway United and most recently Finn Harps. Over three spells with Finn Harps (two loans from Sligo) he has managed double figures in around 25 appearances. It looks like his contract expired in December.
Could well be nothing in it, but it's so eerily quiet in TQ1 right now so I thought I'd mention it!

Isn't he a singer?

Same initials as Rudyard Kipling..
Perhaps he will meet those two imposters of triumph and disaster and treat them both the same!

Non contract terms so nothing to lose but give the lad a go! however the term Nico uses ' a bit raw' rings alarm bells given that we had a premiership starlet in the shape of WBA winger Chay Scrivens and Nico said "He's that right winger we've been after" and then never gave him any game time!

I think he could be worth a punt. Not a bad record and he is a big ish lad who may be able to lead the line. Sadly all we have is a punt at the moment and we cannot attract/afford an established forward.

Finn Harps fans don't sound too bothered about losing him. May have something about him, but doesn't look like the big man that we're screaming out for, or the pacy winger to replace Fitzpatrick. Suppose you can't go too far wrong on non contract terms.
Seems we might be entering another Dave Webb like era !!!!!!!!!

As long as he doesn't say it best when he scores nothing at all.
