Aldershot v Torquay 8/4/17
Well here we have it, 5 games to play, 3 away 2 home. Winning at home is hard enough these days, coupled with 3 horrendous away matches. This is a difficult run in, but when do Torquay ever follow protocol....never.
Aldershot are in form, we are to be honest not in bad form ourselves, just missing that cutting edge(no thanks to our owners adding bugger all to the squad).
There is more pressure on aldershot to win this, so nerves could prevail. I would presume we travel down on the day, so the players need to keep focused and united. Aldershot should win this one 2-0/3-1. But if the guys are looking for a continued career in football we need to go for it from the start. My prediction 2-0 shots. But you never know

3-0 to the shots, cant see us getting anything from this lot.
The only crumb of solace I can muster is when we went and beat Carlisle in the Atkins great escape. We need something like that to happen.
If the boot was on the other foot, this would be the exact sort of game a promotion chasing Torquay would drop points in.
And look at North Ferriby - nobody called them to beat FGR last weekend.
Hang on, let me go and find some more straws to clutch at.......

We have very strong form against the top teams in this league (again a sign of the players' mentality issues), so I wouldn't be surprised to see us get something from this. That being said, it'll require everything to go right for us in the way that everything went wrong last Saturday.

I predict wivelgull will say shots 5 united -1 with 5000 supporters 3 from torquay, and Brucie will agree with him

Any idea which watering hole Gulls fans will be congregating in before the match?
