Good signing. Solid pair of hands and vast experience. Sure, few mistakes in him which is why he's at this level but we'd have done well to have done better
Was he the eastleigh keeper on the stormy Tuesday night that was being a dick and when Youngy scored from a corner, because I hope not
And your point is what exactly. I can remember Stefan Payne being more than a dick for Dover in a Tuesday night game at Plainmoor, if Nicho signed him, would I be happy, oh hell yes.
It's got nothing to do with what any player has done against us, it's got everything to do with what a player can and will do for our club, TUFC was crying out for an experienced keeper now we have one.

A quick look on the Eastleigh forum suggests they liked him and are perplexed why he did not play far more.

Seems he and the Eastleigh manager fell out over this which led to his early departure.

Encouraging from a certain point of view!

Vastly experienced keeper with 500 appearances in a 17 year career to date.
Made 267 appearances for Oxford United. In last 3 seasons only played 27 games so this is a good move for Ryan as well as TUFC.
A west country lad from Bristol.
At 35 he is the perfect signing well done Nicho.

A really good signing and interested to see who we get as his padawan.

Read some good reviews from Eastleigh fans and at 35 he's tried, tested and proven at this level, so a nice low risk signing to be our number one.
The team is coming along nicely. Just a left back and right winger and we'll have a first XI sorted.

Good signing I would say, we now have an experienced spine to the team, Clarke, Gowling, Young, Pitman
Waiting for SG to comment, as a goalkeeper and Eastleigh follower he will have an opinion no doubt
Maybe Merse is happy with this keeper too ?

I remember him playing a friendly for us at Newton Abbot or Dawlish whilst on trial with us in 2006. Atkins opted against signing him (he also plumped for Carl Motteram ahead of Ryan Harley that busy summer).
There's no denying Clarke has had a really solid career, particularly in his years at Oxford. He might not pull off spectacular saves like Moore, but hopefully experience and consistency will help our defence.
Welcome to the club, Ryan

Ryan came up through the ranks at Bristol Rovers and in the 6 years he was there he built up a good reputation as a player who would do his best, but the question in my mind is will he throw a wobbler if he gets dropped for any reason. I hope Nicho has instilled in him that he expects nothing but the best and if not he is adios. down the road as Daryll Clarke said I Rovers. I'm sure Nicho has made sure of Ryans attitude and will push him. but he needs a good no 2 to do that. It won't do Ryans career any good to be the only no 1 so sure of his place he becomes complacent.
Always Look on the bright side of life
