Played for some impressive teams but scored very few goals at any of them. Not hugely excited by this signing.
All of his football has been played at a higher level though, including spells in the Championship and League One. I always thought he was a striker but the OS describe him as a winger.drummergull90 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2017, 15:08 Played for some impressive teams but scored very few goals at any of them. He's more of a winger and has played in the championship for Milwall and Burnley.drummergull90 wrote: ↑22 Sep 2017, 15:08 Played for some impressive teams but scored very few goals at any of them. Not hugely excited by this signing.
He also made 34 appearances for Bournemouth in League One 5 years ago.
Looking at where we are in the (non)league I'm very much excited by this signing!
This sounds like another good signing, just hope he's match fit.
I know we need more of a goal threat but given the injuries are we not a bit light in the middle of the park?

An improvement on what we had, no doubt.
He has lacked game time, but that has generally been in higher divisions. Started his career well and his development has been hindered by being a bench/squad player. That's how it looked as an outsider.
The type of player that is as good as it gets for us. I'm more pleased with him for 3 months than I was with Fallon's arrival.

Brother n law is a Cov City fan and has watched Mcquoid half a dozen times a few seasons back, reckons he is a great signing for conference level. (which is good because 90% of ex Cov players are crap when he's usually asked). He reckons he's 100% a striker not a winger.

I reckon I'd be an improvement on Fallon, except I can't hoola-hoop a tractor tyre.
So let's see if he can provide goals and assists in a difficult league where you get little time and space compared with the higher leagues he's used to.

Has been released from his Luton contract today by mutual agreement. Could he be headed here once again? Especially as he wouldn't take up a loan slot anymore and Owers hinted he might like him back.
