What the ******* hell is that?

Post by wivelgull »

The most bizarre creation I have even seen appeared on the in-house tv excerpts from the Maidstone FA Trophy game: the club mascot GILBERT not only dressed as a gull but as Father Christmas too. Good old GILBERT! It seems he's the only only one who can bring light to the curtain of gloom and darkness that has descended over Plainmoor.
Why not have him dressed as a magnificent man in his flying machine i.e. boots, leather helmet, handlebar tache etc. as well as his GILBERT uniform?

Perhaps dressed as a Thunderbird, Scott or Virgil Tracy, part of International Rescue to save the club.

fair point, no he doesn't, mainly because he knows if I have been good or bad all year. and generally my mutterings most Saturday tea times have maybe led him to believe I am erring towards the bad side!

anyway only joking, if nothing else there will always be a Gilbert, at least I hope so, it would have been nice to get him to Fylde to show them what a proper gull is though
