I agree. I think he'll come out with some bullshit about taking the postives from a 1-1 draw at Macc them being top of the table and apply them to the next game but when the next game comes and isn't won then it gets a bit ridiculous.
The only positives to come from today would be a win. Nothing else is good enough.

Nosebleed time - we've scored a goal!

We've recognised for weeks that Owers isn't competent at this level, so he no more knows his best XI from his worst, nor how to best use them. A random goal will be a puzzle he didn't know how it happened so can't repeat it.

Sitting deep it sounds like. Inviting trouble and pointless in our situation.
Wins or nothing . A point is just not enough.

Get em at it Owers!!! WE NEED 3 POINTS HERE !!! doh!!
FT 1-1. Nobody predicted that so in isolation a decent result, but it needs to be a stepping stone to a run of form otherwise its irrelevant.
FT, 1-1. Yeah we need to win, but after our recent results this is a good point for me.

Shocking result for Macclesfield, especially with Aldershot winning away at Orient. We usually see top of the table running away with it at this stage of the season, going to be interesting to see who grabs promotion. More importantly, as for us, a great result (more on paper than anything), we just have to win every single game to have any chance (which isn't going to happen). Also, great result for Solihull Moors away to Dag&Red.

Solihull with 4 wins and 1 draw from their last 5 games, if only we could go on a run like thatdannyrvtufc4life wrote: ↑27 Jan 2018, 17:01 Shocking result for Macclesfield, especially with Aldershot winning away at Orient. Of course it is, it's a point more than we had any right to expect, so it is a good point. I swear, some people have their heads so far in the clouds it's unreal; you can't expect us to just go from 0-4 to beating the teams at the top of the table.
We battled, we didn't collapse when we went 1-0 down, we SCORED A GOAL. Yet still we need to try and take things away from the team? Good god, I'd hate to have some of our fans attempt to motivate our players: "YOU DREW 1-1 AGAINST MAN CITY?! LOAD OF RUBBISH, WE NEED WINS!"
