Don't know anything about him but seems as good a calibre of player as we could've hoped for in the circumstances. League experience, 20 league apps for Plymouth.

He’ll do an excellent job for you in defence or midfield, he played a significant part in our promotion year, I think you’ll see you’ve got a decent player, hope you can keep your results coming and stay in the National league and sort yourself out for a promotion next season, good luck

A promising report - thanks a lot.

It represents a good signing in my view - there is no doubt that Barnes seems to be a key player in midfield so its good that he can continue there.

Really impressed with this addition and surprised also. He'll do a job. Absolutely no doubt. Seen him a few times to be able to have formed an opinion and with his profile as well regarding his career, this all adds up to a great signing IMO.

He was released by Plymouth in January, so was a free man. Not sure we can thank Plymouth on this occasion
