This just isn’t going to happen. Ya Torquay fans have the worst luck ever.
It's hard not to get carried away here, but we'll see who it is first. It could be the best news we've had in years, or some of the worst.
Have no reason to doubt the source, so time will tell (hopefully).

"all recent indications have been that Osborne, who took over the Gulls just under 15 months ago, is committed to the club and plans to remain so whatever their relegation fate this season."
Yes, of course he is, Guy...........

The blokes down at Devon Live need to stop messing around and start taking things seriously.
I mean, fancy asking if he has a brain. Ridiculous.
Great that Geoff was prepared to answer the question though with his response above. Top bloke.

Masters has long wanted to own TUFC but his ownership of Truro city held him back. He acted as advisor/consultant to Dave Philips board. As a result it was masters who brokered the deal that saw GI take over the club.

Exactly right, and he will drop Truro without a second thought to take over at Plainmoor.

There is no ‘denial’ even though the headline says there is. It’s all a bit dunno/Osborne didn’t say anything to me, with Harrop sounding as though he doesn’t speak to Osborne from one week to the next.

Well I have put my head firmly on the chopping block but it'll take a while I reckon to see if I'm right or my sources have stitched me up lol. I can live with that

So, if it was Masters who helped GI initially take over, surely he should be held slightly accountable for them being here in the first place, or am I totally getting the wrong end of the stick?!...Plainmoor78 wrote: ↑13 Mar 2018, 19:12 Masters has long wanted to own TUFC but his ownership of Truro city held him back. If Masters is 'pally' with Osborne and they have history then i'd be very, very suspicious of any buyout involving him. I don't think we can trust anyone who even knows Osborne through business but by the same token, i don't think we have a choice.
