Good luck to Exeter City
As a true Gull I would like to wish Exeter City all the best for tomorrow.Being a kid standing behind the goal in the cow shed I would not have wished Exeter anything but to get stuffed but times change and being where we are I think it's only good that Devon have two teams in the first division as a couple of loan lads could do us the world of good and it keeps league football just twenty miles away.
Who cares - I dont
Well said frenchgull. Many Exeter and Plymouth fans have sent well wishes and both clubs can be a help in getting us out of our current plight.
I agree with Brucie

Wish for others what you wish for yourself. It's harbours resentment. I wish them well bit if they lost I would feel no sense of happiness or sadness.

It's a big man who can wish his opponent well; a small man who can't.
Good luck City!

It would be great if we were good enough for Exeter City to be our opponent!merse btpir wrote: ↑27 May 2018, 20:36 It's a big man who can wish his opponent well; a small man who can't.

Good luck to the Greeks I say. They have had their moments of peril in the past and now they have a shot at glory.
Let’s be sporting and wish them all the best .....

Without wishing them good luck or bad luck, it looks like Tisdale is off at the end of this season so the calibre of manager they can attract very much depends on this game.
Historically, long serving managers are difficult to replace and if they don't go up, City good easily find themselves in our boat.
Living closer to Exeter than I do Torquay these days, I have heard grumblings of discontent about Tisdale for the last two seasons, amazingly.
They should be very very careful what they wish for.....
With regards to the game...2-1 Cov.

Sorry merse it was too clever for me for a Sunday evening after a glass of wine with my meal! I tried cryptic on here once but got berated by so many people who read it as literal so didn't bother again to preserve my sensibilitymerse btpir wrote: ↑27 May 2018, 22:39 You missed my cryptic message!
We very much ARE a small man these days
