Chelmsford City Vs Torquay United - 4/8/18
The 2018/19 season is a couple of days from kick-off, the summer came and went (well the sun did), back to the real stuff, football for points, and hopefully a great season for the lads in Yellow (well orangie/yellowie)
To those who are making the journey on Saturday, safe travels and see you at the game!
I see that Torquay are 4th favorites (with most bookmakers) to win the league with Chelmsford being 3rd favorites. Going to be a tough game on Saturday, they have made several new additions and see this as an opportunity to take a gulls scalp as our new team has little playing experience as a unit.
Best of luck to the boys and again safe travels if you are going. I will take my iPad and write a bit of a match report on the way back.

Surely if Chelmsford have several new additions then they too have little playing experience as a unit. Therefore both teams should be pretty well matched.

Isn't it hard to take to play Chelmsford in a competitive league match and for one be underdogs to win (bookies have us at best 2/1) and some see this as a difficult match. We have the squad to win this. So let's just go for it, COYY

Anyone know if the radio will be up in time for tomorrow?
2/1 looks a reasonable price as Chelmsford are 5/4 and have some injury doubts. I see this game as 50/50.
Its really hard to know how this one will go though. We are basically a team of strangers so it may take a little while for us to gel.
Whilst the squad may have looked a little light it doesn't now though and Owers looks as though he is full of options.
Certainly this and the Bath game should provide some answers. We really need to hit the ground running though. A defeat would be a massive disappointment but equally I could see us winning this one.
I don't see Billericay being the racing certainties that everyone makes them out to be. Reckon Truro might pull off a shock tomorrow.
