Are they holding off on an assistant as they Don’t have confidence in Owers and don’t want to get rid of him and his new assistant? Just a thought

Todd and Hodges are free, if they can get Truro up the right end of the table what could they do with the resources of our club? Sack Owers and get them in.

They're just one example, and while the above is tongue in cheek it does go to show that there are better choices around than the one currently occupying the managers role.

Far from an Owers fan but I think we learnt trusting a manager with the summer recruitment and sacking him after 4 games is not the way to go.....

There's one thing for sure, under Owers we're going nowhere.

I would prefer a decent striker over an assistant manager.
Life is like TUFC. Perfect moments can be had, but not preserved, except in memory. :goal:

We have an assistant.., Mr Taylor, the cheep amd in house option.., to go alongside the Micky mouse GK coach and match day coaches I was slated for moaning about.

As a player I wouldn’t be inspired or have the feeling of desire like I see other teams have with that backroom set up. Players are selfish and fickle and with our current staff set up we are going nowhere!

I am a paying customer of Tesco, does that give me the right to ask who everyone is and what they are doing? If I don't like Tesco I can go somewhere else. If you were a paying customer of the company I work for and you asked to know who a member of my team was or what they were achieving I would politely (at first) decline.
Not really a fair comparison between a supermarket and a football team. Most other clubs would announce the back room staff to the loyal supporters.
It sums up what is wrong with the club no connection or communication with the fans.

I am not sure many fans if not happy would just ‘go somewhere else’

Give Owers 10 games, Unfair on giving him criticism and wanting him out already after one loss. Look at the bigger picture. Saturday is a big game. Owers said himself last night the players have said this is a wake up call. Lets see what Happens

I'm no fan of Owers but agree if after 10 games it's not looking good then change it immediately but can't see it happening if he does fail.

What are you guys saying is acceptable. After 10 games
If we’re not in play offs then I’d say dismiss him (only if we have someone lined up) not willing to wait a month without a manager. That was a nightmare last season.
