Mr Owers steps down
Any normal Chairman would surely have commented given the announced expectation and the consequential results. However we don't have a normal Chairman. So if the Chairman declines to speak as he says he doesn't quite understand the passion in football maybe the General Manager could speak to fans. No he is apparently no longer involved in that side of things but has had double the workload because we are helping out Truro. So we are expected to suffer without comment from anyone. It is surely time the. for the local press to comment on all of this. Can you imagine a newspaper anywhere else treating its readers like this. Surely now be have reached this level of sheer nonsense someone somewhere ought to have the guts to comment on all of this.

Agree with the above totally. It is time for those at the top to express their views about the current plight, to our loyal supporters and the local press.Dazza wrote: ↑10 Sep 2018, 21:10 Any normal Chairman would surely have commented given the announced expectation and the consequential results. Herald Exprsss Twitter: On today's @TQHeraldExpress sports pages - Gulls In Crisis: Chairman Osborne 'still hasn't seen United play this season’
ROAD TO LEAGUE 2
Just read the latest DevonLive article where this was stated.
Osborne, who has still not seen United play this season, has placed his close associate George Edwards, a director of Osborne’s Gaming International group, in charge of week-to-week affairs at Plainmoor.
So whats Harrops role then??
