I can’t believe it!! Yorkshire Gully strikes again with a combination of punditry and political satire. He’s right though, my nan could put 7 past a chip shop team like Lymington

There was no count on the gate no turnstile, they must have worked it out on money taken there were people coming in from all angles.
A good confidence boost for everyone Bret Williams needed it and his goal was brilliant. Hall played well as well. A good day out. :keepie:

Didn't we score 5 against Rochdale in 2010 or so? We also had that 5-5 draw against FGR a few seasons ago.

Not sure how accurate they could have been counting the attendance but 639 sounds about right. Hard to judge away support as we were spread around the ground but maybe 250?

Besides the obvious, that the A35 has no right to be called an A road and I could fly to Greece quicker than it took me to get to Lymingotn, I was stood next to the Torquay dugout for a good part of the game and I was impressed the way Johnson was talking to the players all the time, encouraging and haranguing in fairly equal measures, but the players acknowledged every comment he made, the talking between the players was more than I have heard for several seasons and can only be a good thing, a comprehensive result, yes, but the opposition with no disrespect to them was not up to much, next Saturday will be a more difficult proposition but I am very confident.

you can only play against what's on the pitch whether it be lymington or Chelsea. So in relation to this the team today had a smile and confidence in their play not seen that for several years. The control of the ball from the lads was at times premiership quality. Hire a good manager and look what has happened. We are on the up and clearly this was seen today. Well done Gary Johnson and indeed Shaun Taylor we now look a full time squad. If could quite easily had finished 12-0 .
