Norman Smurrhwaite.
The modern day Bond villan.
A few people wanted him at TUFC
Has completely stitched up AFC Nuneaton Borough.
They are likely to go out of business very soon.

What has he done to Nuneaton?

Their youth team lost in probably the best comeback in football history.
With 30 minutes left, they were 7-2 up. By full time they had lost 8-9. Ouch.

Given TUFC1’s first post on this site spoke of groundsharing with Truro for a season while our new ground was built/the Club will die at Plainmoor etc., I’d like to hear a bit more from him as to why he thinks Smurthwaite has stitched up Nuneaton.

Yes Norman Smurrhwaite took over Nuneaton in the summer.
3 months later he has left the club with no chairman or directors
He sold all the players on contract and done a runner last week.
Club are penniless and will close within weeks.
Why are you putting up links to him taking over in June????
Then as we enter October he has done a runner.
So I'm afraid I am correct.
Yes I am wrong Tiverton contracted players are on around £600 a week after expenses.
The saviour in June the destroyer by October.
But alas TUFC fans are a bit behind the times ho hum.

Hence the post.
He took over in June completely asset stripped the club.
But alas bless you from that link in June your only 4 months behind in the news.
Sums you up really.
Bit like TUFC a bit behind the times.

Not going to humour Tufc1 with any further posts, you (Tufc1) are simply talking out the back of your arse really. For a start Norman Smurrhwaite does not and can not own the football club, he owns the ground only, read their supporters coop site more in depth.
Inflation must be rife, you were telling us last week Tivvy players were on £400 a week, now £600, suppose it will £800 next week.

Yes but Nuneaton let him take control of the club.Nuneaton don't own their ground the rugby club does.
He went in there asset stripped them within 4 months and last week did a runner.
Taking all the money.
Volunteers are in control of match day takings and are currently being held in a bank account as no official account exists anymore.
He has screwed them.
Oh how the people who hate Clarke are so upset now.
We escaped this one feel lucky it wasn't us.
And when I played in the Doctor Martens league equalivent of 7th tier... 7 years ago I was on more than £400 a week and no I was not on a contract.

That seems like a fair policy. Complete garbage being spouted. When your opening gambit is that we ought to share at Truro’s ground while our new one gets built, you know only complete tosh is likely to follow. Must be an agenda here for this planted tool, noting his reference to Clarke in his latest rant, where he gets ownership of Nuneaton’s ground wrong again even though it had been pointed out to him already.forevertufc wrote: ↑06 Oct 2018, 17:22 Not going to humour Tufc1 with any further posts, you (Tufc1) are simply talking out the back of your arse really. Am guessing the same poster will have another username soon and we can hear again all about how TUFC needs a new ground and how lucky we are to have Uncle Clarke.

you seem to be missing the important point that he cant own two football clubs.......Tufc1 wrote: ↑06 Oct 2018, 17:30 Yes but Nuneaton let him take control of the club.Nuneaton don't own their ground the rugby club does.
