Don't you just love it when a harmless thread about the FA Cup (note the capital 'C' Richinns :keepie: ) is hijacked by a f**king Grammar Nazi.

Back to the football, hopefully the Dartford and St Albans games (and Dulwich if we beat Woking) will be re-arranged before Christmas, with our possible progress in the FA Trophy and likely weather related away postponements in the New Year we don't want our play off/ title challenge to be hindered by fixture congestion

Sunderland away would have been good for the coffers . . . but so might a win or two more

Another aspect of playing Woking is to give this 'new' team a chance to continue the 'settling down' process at their own level. A good chance of progressing one would hope and maybe after another win or two, who knows, Man. Utd away and TV fees ? It's great to have won some FA Cup games ! :scarf:

Glad to see Ben Gerring is at Woking - wish him well. :)

I am sure the Woking FA Cup match will be the happiest for a long time.

There. I feel better now.

In this case a sign of indifference but usually a resigned "what's the point/why do I bother" (imagine saying "meh" while shrugging your shoulders.)

I'm 66 and I used to hear that sound emananating from Newton Abbot livestock market when I was a kid...

Just a fading C list celeb click baiting; ommitting to admit that she got her stardom from being a female, flashing her arse and posing for Penthouse. Alright to take all the advantages of being a 'girlie' then ~ and good luck to her ~ but at the age of 51 time to realise that she never got the job with gravitas (the one that Gabby Logan got) and also that those who got the BBC gig the other night got it because they were judged best for the job. I don't think Helen's agent ever did get her any work on the BBC.

Even though we'll be playing on her doorstep on Saturday, I doubt very much you'll see her demeaning herself to go to Grosvenor Vale.

Whilst visiting Split & Dubrovnik in august, we stuck our tv on & Hels bells was on a footy edition of Catchphrase along with Kammy & Mr staypuff aka John Barnes, she wiped the floor with them but I think it was a fix cos cos it's for charity ( can't remember how much she won ) . The reason I mention this is cos it's another ' piss about' programme she's on , the serious stuff , presenting actua seriousl sport to the masses has unfortunately, for Helen, all that **** about on the soccer am sofa has done her no favours, she's become typecast.

Unaware of the FA Cup rules (it's been too long), but if Gerring has already played for Billericay in the cup, would he be cup tied and unavailable? Or have I just made this rule up...?
