Really bizarre half of football, whenever either team was in the ascendancy, the other team scores.
Generally we've been second best, getting badly outmuscled up front by the brute that is Darren Moore. And the movement of Zola, Pearson, Maghoma and Malone up front is causing us problems at the back. Our first goal was comedic defending, the second well worked and passed into the net by Tomlin. Their first was a peach of a curler into the top corner, the second a real example of "after you Claude" defending. We should have dealt with it well before Pearson slid it home.
We've played good football in patches, Tomlin showing some neat touches and Stanley/Oastler working well in midfield. Need a change of approach though, as our only really outlet seems to be us pumping it long to Tomlin who isn't ever going to win much in the air. Robinson is very much on the periphery, maybe an early candidate for replacement?

Looking at the other results, it's pretty much as you were, apart from Wycombe winning. Hope Bucks gets the :whip: out, we need to win this!!
Like it or not, we're going to do this the Torquay way.
Anyone fancy a Branston 90th minute header to seal all three points.

Na, na na, NA NA NA NA, NA NA NA NA, TORQUAY!
End of the day we HAVE to win this game, so we better improve after the break!

Really?? Not what they are saying on the o/s. I get the impression that they are a fairly close knit bunch of lads who are doing everything they can to get automatic promotion.yellowsmiffy wrote:Our team is so fragile mentally I swear. Ridiculous. bloody fuming
We are on a good unbeaten run at the moment. 45 minutes to go - we can still do this!!
