On a different day with a bit of better fortune it would have been a 4-2 win. Main areas for disappointment being that as a team and including GJ we have played in these conditions and situations before and haven't learned from them. Conceding the first goal allows constant time wasting by the opposition (generally unpunished) and the overhit/underhit ball over the top in the wind leads to conceding possession repeatedly and not allowing the team to get into any rhythm. The players are much more capable than a foot race into space and should be encouraged to get the ball down and play more. On balance we deserved at least a point. Credit to WSM for their efforts, 2 well taken goals from limited chances and getting 3 points. They largely did a job on us.

Another one for the happy clapper brigade.
Wake up and smell the roses
Nonsense, you clearly haven’t suffered watching our team at plainmoor for the last 5 years. If you had you would appreciate what’s on show there in recent times.
Wasn't at game but my dad was. Simple terms, didn't play great , had no luck and ref was terrible. Still done amazing to be in this position.
Move on and live upwards. Disappointing but no means hugely damaging.
I have just seen Johnsons after match chat and I wasn't sure whether he was fuming and valiantly trying to keep it contained for the interview or he was really down. A comment he made brought things into perspective for me, the players are inconsistent that's why they are playing at this level. After many seasons of watching absolute rubbish under a succession of very poor managers, in the space of half a season we now as a matter of fact expect to steam roller all comers. Even after that abject display today we are still top of the division, with a far superior goal difference and all the other teams excepting Woking are not going to make up the eight point difference.

I do appreciate what he's done but be honest...Do you see him keeping us in the conf if we get promoted?
After chatting to the Weston Keeper Paul Purnels friend he told me that he was not booked for time wasting it was game management they've got a name for everything these days and he teaches children. ( A very good keeper.)

I'm right pissed off & you ain't making it any better by continuously calling Gary Johnson feckin JOHNSTON !!
Come on man wise up :slap:
Thank you Dove.
After your correct castigating words aimed at me in a previous thread when I inexplicably misspelled Sean Macdonalds Christian name Shaun,
I took it on board & realised as a true fan there are no excuses for basic errors in naming our players & management, it's just lazy.
Regards Tingirl.
People should put a little perspective on this.
These are the first points dropped at home for 4 months.
It was bound to happen sometime.
Every team have games where they underperform.
What now matters is how the players react and pick themselves up for the match on Tuesday.
