Big game tonight (if on) hopefully GJ can get the boys raring to go, as he said after WSM, it’s a cup final! To be honest I think we’ll be saying this about all the remaining games! COYYS

word is it could be off, pitch inspection likely....

my issue completely off subject is the lack of reinforcements that johnsons brother has bought in, if you look at our bench it is weak, no striker outlet to bring on or strength in depth, i worry we have missed a trick not getting people in now on the final stretch..

We had 14 wins from 16 before Saturday. It's hardly form that needs addressing, so as long as people stay fit and we have one game a week, we don't need a huge squad. I'm sure Gary Johnson has said that we have people lined up if required, but there's no point signing someone to sit on the bench. The transfer deadline is usually later in March I think if we did need anyone extra for the run-in, and I think GJ has built up some trust in him to back the squad he wants.

If tonight is going to be off it would be nice to know asap, before most people need to travel.

Watching the racing from Haldon and its absolutely hammering down - whats that? 20 miles away.

Does anyone seriously think this pitch is going to stand 5 hours of rain....and then its only going to get worse.

To be honest I think the pitch will be fine as the rain isn’t too heavy quite yet. I predict a 3-1 win today, COYY :scarf: :goal:

There's been hardly any rain in the Bay all day today. It chucked it down last night and it looks like it will again later according to all forecasts - which hopefully the groundstaff and referee are well aware of....
so if there's no comment on the OS it is because it is not in doubt.
Someone on FB says they rang the club an hour ago and was told it was definitely on.

Worst case scenario I'll have to have another pint in the Union!

What "Bay" are you referring to- in Torbay and Torquay in particular it's hardly stopped since midday-albeit not really heavy rain as yet.
Not particularly windy yet though.

I'm in Brixham looking right accross TORBAY and there has been a couple of short showers at about 1pm and 3pm and now it is drizzling.
I can't quite see Plainmoor but I can see Torquay harbourside/seafront area

What a big match. If we win we go 11 points clear of 3rd, and so have pretty much guaranteed top 2. A couple of weeks ago I would have been very confident, but the last couple of games have shown how easy it is to have a stutter.

But I think we are better against sides who want to play football against us, and I think Chelmsford will come and give it a go, and our speed and fitness will see us get a win.

I do not think we will keep a clean sheet, so need to score first in this one. Prediction is 3 - 1 to the mighty yellows.

Looking at the radar there is a chance that the heavier stuff may miss Torbay and slide by northwestwards - may be clutching at straws though
