HUGE well done to Jamie Reid. I hold my hand up and was unfairly critical at the beginning of the season, at the time I stressed I really hoped to be proved wrong because I admired his work ethic and desire so I'm delighted not only to see his goal tally but to see the recognition he has rightfully received. Jamie is still developing and the step up will enable him to hone his skills even further, he has greatly benefitted from having Janneh alongside him so hope we find an appropriate strike partner for him next season. Well done Jamie

This shows the value of Gary Johnson's coaching and experience. For years under Nicholson and Owers we bemoaned the lack of a goal scorer and all the time the answer was in the building.

Heart felt congratulations to you Jamie.
A fully deserved accolade.
Now can you kick on , I'm ashamed to say I doubted you but you have whole heartedly shoved my misgivings back down my throat, so well done son.
More of the same please next season. Enjoy your break, you've earned it.

Haven’t seen it published anywhere yet ... but we were also informed last night at the “Champions” evening by Gary Johnson that Jamie Reid, Asa Hall and Kyle Cameron have all made it into the National League South Team of the Season.

Ben Gerring lines up in central defence with Kyle Cameron in the NLS team of the season. Hope the team know how to play with 10 men!! Seriously though, he must have put a few performances in to make the line up.

Ben Gerring owes a hell of a lot to Kevin Nicholson who gave him his first break at National League level, otherwise he'd still be booting aimless balls in the air at Southern League level. I think it's a great pity that Gerring has burnt his boats at Torquay United (if he ever wanted to come back that is), and an even greater shame that he showed his home town club such little respect with his antics last season. It will be interesting to see how he gets on back in the National League proper next season, assuming Woking win their play-off final.
