Just typed Torquay United into Google just to see if we'd signed anyone... For a minute thought our two marquee signings were Stuart Morgan and Les Chapel...

Bit harsh that - I don't blame him for joining Wigan.

I don't blame him as such, however I would rather play week in week out at conf standard as oppose to playing in a development league or maybe not playing at all.

Having said that maybe he didn't have much choice at the time given our financial problems

Lavercombe has been one of 5 keepers at Wigan with Wadebridge 'Lad' Christian Walton in possession of the gloves with some distinction, over the last two seasons. Dan's chances have been limited and it's hard to know how he'd perform now . . . . I guess he'd like to return but would GJ be interested as he must have lotsa options ?

Well, no, but he was presumably getting quite a lot more there than he would have with us. I don't begrudge any player moving for more money, especially at somewhere around our level. Given that he's been released by a Championship club I would expect at least League 2 sides to be taking a look, and probably League 1 as well.

Dan Butler should never have been allowed to leave Torquay in the first place - signed by Paul Cox, he was an excellent attacking full-back for us who never seemed to have a bad game. Good luck to him as his career moves onwards and upwards. James Hurst on the other hand (also signed by Paul Cox) - what a waste of a talent. He has the ability to play at least to League One level.

Looks like Chris Zebroski’s wife has hold of his Twitter account. The term playing away springs to mind.

Euan O'kane at Exeter airport this afternoon heading back up north. Possibly looking to resurrect his career in the south west, A bit rich for our wage bill me thinks.

Now that's a player I'd be excited to have back.
As long as they don't make him the manager !!!
